Spring cleaning…

Spring is blooming with possibility!

One of my friends only sets goals this time of year because she says the energy of new beginnings is just too good to waste—and honestly? I’m on board. This spring, I’m determined to finish Ximena’s happily ever after before summer hits. Girl deserves her swoony ending.

I had a super inspiring zoom meeting with my write-or-die BFF Arlys Avery last week and it gave me a second wind for Ximena’s HEA. I powered through nine chapters the next day! (That sounds more impressive than 8,600 words, I think.😉)

Here’s a taste that makes me smile. Ximena’s first day at HQ has her moving into an office her mother-in-law picked just for her.

“I pass offices and conference rooms labeled not by numbers but names—Justice, Equity, Restoration—and finally pause outside mine: Disruption. Of course. I giggle even as I roll my eyes. Naomi always has had a flair for the thematic.”
