Pink Moon in Libra

April’s full moon rises in Libra this weekend, and listen—she did not come to play.

This isn’t just a sweet spring moon with a cute name (though yes, we will be romanticizing everything in soft pink). It’s a cosmic checkpoint. A call to come back into balance. A shimmering mirror in the sky asking: Where are you out of alignment? What needs reweaving?

The Pink Moon peaks on Saturday, April 12 at 5:22 PM Pacific Time—or, if you’re elsewhere on the planet, that’s 8:22 PM Eastern or just after midnight on Sunday, April 13 in UTC. Blame the time zones, not the moon.

What matters is that it rises in Libra, lighting up the parts of our charts ruled by relationships, justice, harmony, and aesthetics. And in perfect cosmic drama, it also lands right as Venus stations direct—marking the end of a retrograde season that dragged our love lives, bank accounts, and self-worth issues through the mud. Thanks for the growth, babe. (Said not one of us, ever.) But here we are—mud-splattered, mascara-smudged, and somehow still standing taller. That’s the power of a moon like this.

🌸 So what’s the vibe?

This full moon is asking you to:

  • Look at your relationships—with people, with beauty, with money, with yourself

  • Get honest about the imbalance

  • Choose grace and truth over people-pleasing

  • Come back into alignment with what feels beautiful and brave

We’re not here for performative peacekeeping. We’re here for integrity. For pleasure. For the kind of balance that doesn’t require shrinking or over-functioning.

✨ A journal prompt for you:

“Where in my life have I traded authenticity for acceptance—and what would it look like to take myself back?”

💕 A blessing to carry with you:

You are not too much.
You are not too late.
You are not here to tiptoe through your own damn life.
Let this full moon show you the beauty of being exactly who you are.

💌 Here’s what I’m doing under the Pink Moon:

  • Writing down the places where I’ve been out of sync with myself (and burning that piece of paper like I’m ready to burn the patriarchy to the ground)

  • Releasing obligations that don’t match my values

  • Lighting a pink candle and whispering, “Let it be easy. Let it be beautiful. Let it be true.”

  • Wearing something that makes me feel like a goddess who pays her bills on time

  • Reading at least one of these Pink Moon-approved romances

    • The Lady’s Guide to Celestial Mechanics by Olivia Waite, narrated by Morag Sims
As Lucy Muchelney watches her ex-lover’s sham of a wedding, she wishes herself anywhere else. It isn’t until she finds a letter from the countess of Moth, looking for someone to translate a groundbreaking French astronomy text, that she knows where to go. Showing up at the countess’ London home, she hoped to find a challenge, not a woman who takes her breath away.

Catherine St Day looks forward to a quiet widowhood once her late husband’s scientific legacy is fulfilled. She expected to hand off the translation and wash her hands of the project - instead, she is intrigued by the young woman who turns up at her door, begging to be allowed to do the work, and she agrees to let Lucy stay. But as Catherine finds herself longing for Lucy, everything she believes about herself and her life is tested.

While Lucy spends her days interpreting the complicated French text, she spends her nights falling in love with the alluring Catherine. But sabotage and old wounds threaten to sever the threads that bind them. Can Lucy and Catherine find the strength to stay together, or are they doomed to be star-crossed lovers?

    • Written in the Stars by Alexandria Bellefleur, narrated by Lauren Sweet
After a disastrous blind date, Darcy Lowell is desperate to stop her well-meaning brother from playing matchmaker ever again. Love—and the inevitable heartbreak—is the last thing she wants. So she fibs and says her latest set up was a success. Darcy doesn’t expect her lie to bite her in the ass.

Elle Jones, one of the astrologers behind the popular Twitter account, Oh My Stars, dreams of finding her soul mate. But she knows it is most assuredly not Darcy... a no-nonsense stick-in-the-mud, who is way too analytical, punctual, and skeptical for someone as free-spirited as Elle. When Darcy’s brother—and Elle's new business partner—expresses how happy he is that they hit it off, Elle is baffled. Was Darcy on the same date? Because... awkward.

When Darcy begs Elle to play along, she agrees to pretend they’re dating to save face. But with a few conditions: Darcy must help Elle navigate her own overbearing family over the holidays and their arrangement expires on New Year’s Eve. The last thing they expect is to develop real feelings during a fake relationship.

But maybe opposites can attract when true love is written in the stars?
