June wrap-up

Whatcha readin’?

June was brutal. I’m still reeling.
While I helped usher my mother through the final stretch of her life, these books were my escape hatch. My soft place to land.
I leaned hard on familiar voices—Emily Henry’s warm, funny prose and Julia Whelan’s melodic narration whispered me through.
This was all I could do. And for now, that will have to be enough.
